I am in an absolute state over what to get Jenna for the baby shower.  She’s my baby sister, and this is her first child, so I can’t be cheap; moreover, I don’t want to be cheap!  I want to buy her half of Babies’R'Us!  Unfortunately, I can’t do that, because Todd just got laid off and I’m the sole breadwinner now for us and our four kids.  Thus, I’m not in a very good position to be buying her anything, but like I said, I can’t not buy her something.

What do you think about custom bedding?  That shouldn’t be too expensive.  I could do a theme, like black and white bedding.  Or I could do something more along the lines of a picture blanket with soothing images on it.  That would be nice for a baby.  I’m just so excited for that little bundle to get here.  Oh, maybe I could get one of those cases that turns an iPod into a baby toy.  That would be useful!  They travel down the Cape a lot, so they could just put the baby in the backseat and go.  I wonder if she can’t use that until she’s a bit older though.  I know what ever I buy Todd is going to argue me on.  Come on, economy, ease up!
