Managing Payments The Easy Way

It seems that the older I get the more bills that I have to pay to an increasing number of different companies and banks. Sometimes it seems that all I do is worry if I had managed to pay all the bills for the month on time and to the right person or agency. My friend was laughing at my stress the other day and told me about a debt consolidation program that he used to make one simple and straightforward monthly payment to cover all his outstanding bills.

This, of course, was pure music to my ears. He told me that this program combined all his debts including his student loans, credit cards and even his payday loans all into one monthly bill. The first step it seems is to find out information on all the bills you are paying including monthly amounts, total balance outstanding and the terms of repayment, then go and visit a financial manager at a credit counseling center, a bank or alternative financial lending company. They will work with you to determine a reasonable amount you can pay per month, plus they will also work with the creditors to have your overall debt reduced to ensure you can pay it off.
