I have been ridiculously bored with my life lately. I hate to admit that because I really believe that the only people who get bored are boring people. There are so many different things out there to learn in the world that it doesn’t make sense for people to have any reason to be bored unless they are choosing not to be active. I realize this but it’s difficult to get excited about new things.

I do like learning new things, however. For example, there was a point in time a few years ago when I really got into the game of airsoft. I was really excited to learn something completely new and different. I spent hours and hours researching airsoft guns, learning the difference between the skills needed for kwa airsoft guns and those needed to use tokyo marui guns.

I didn’t end up liking airsoft for long; it was one of those interests that flared quickly and faded just as fast. However, I do remember that I felt really passionately interested in the topic at the time. At the moment, it doesn’t feel like I’m ever going to recapture that feeling. But I don’t want to be bored so I’m going to start seeing what’s out there and hopefully I’ll be on to my next new hobby soon!
