School is going to let out soon and then the kids are going to need to be entertained. Here are some ideas for kids’ activities that don’t cost a lot of money:

• Make art. Kids can be kept entertained for hours with just some simple art supplies. Drawing, fingerpainting and doing simple paper crafts are all great ways to keep the kids happily busy this summer.
• Perform art. You can also do little performances with your kids. Get some cheap costume wigs and plus size costumes and have your kids dress up and make a silly play. Perform it for the whole family.
• Photography walks. Take the kids out with your inexpensive digital camera and go for a long walk. Let them take pictures of everything neat that they see. Come home and make a slideshow of the photos on your computer.
• Get active. Kids love to play so get them out and about. Hiking, tossing around a football or playing games like tennis are all great ways to stay busy and stay fit with your kids this summer.

The great thing about kids is that it’s not that difficult to entertain them. If you show some enthusiasm for these activities then they’re going to enjoy them as well.
