I am new to running a business and although it seems to be going ok, I am not sure how to make it run better.  I know there are so many fatal mistakes in business and I would like to avoid making them so a family member suggested I hire a surveying company to get a pulse on how my business is running.

I went on-line and found a reputable company who is acclimated to this kind of work.  The company took care of everything and all I had to do was listen.  They first conducted an employee satisfaction survey which showed my employees are generally happy with their jobs but gave me several areas I now know I need to work on.  Then they completed a customer service survey and I was surprised at how much feedback they received from my customers.  They knew all the right questions to ask, and got to the center of any issues they uncovered.

Now I am using these customer surveys to choose what direction I want to take my company.  I feel like these surveys have helped me to prevent a potentially huge business mistake and I am truly grateful that researching this information was suggested to me.
